| Mary grew up next to the sea in Salthill, Galway and it has been a huge influence on her life and work. She has always had a great interest in art and poetry. In recent years she has taken up art full time with amazing results. Having worked with various mediums she now finds that she is really at home using oils. Mary is self taught which allows her to go beyond any defined boundaries or expectations. The influence of the sea is easily recognised in her many seascapes and Mary also has a great love for the abstract which produces very interesting images incorporating different perspectives on life's experiences. Some of Mary's exhibitions include ART Ireland, RDS
Dublin where she had a sell out show in March 2007. She also exhibits
in various galleries throughout the country and special events such
as the Wexford opera festival. Mary had a feature article in the 2006
Christmas edition of the upstairs downstairs magazine with special mention
in various other media. Mary's work is increasingly sought after by
art lovers everywhere.
