Olivier Longuet was born in France in 1975. He moved to Ireland in 1998 and has now set up his workshop in Bell Harbour Co.Clare. Self taught, he was initiated to drawing and painting at a young age from both his Mother and Grand Father. Since then, Olivier has worked on a wide variety of styles and mediums such as watercolors, crayons, sketching markers, pastels, oils and acrylics and now does most of his work using oil on canvas.
Mostly taking from areas he is very familiar with -surfing and Irish Music, Olivier is also exploring areas such as the work of great renaissance artists or the Burren and Galway landscapes.
