Patsy Connolly grew up and now paints in the Burren. Formerly a biologist, she attained a BSc degree in NUI Galway and a PHD in Trinity College, Dublin.
She studied photography with Cristine Simpson in Waterford Institute of Technology;
Attended master classes in Painting with Artist Rita Wobbe in her studio for several years;
Paintings and Drawing in S. Ives School of Painting and various programmes of Painting and Drawing in the Burren College of Art.

She has a deep connection with nature and an interest in Jngian Symbolism both of which find expression in her work.
