In the main, the subjects of my paintings here are Bishopsquarter, Fanore and the
Flaggy Shore. The challenge has been to paint these familiar places as they are
transformed by light, and to capture the sense of time, of season and weather
conditions.
Denise Ryan is a full time artist and lives and works at Bishopsquarter, Ballyvaughan.
