Siobhan Piercy

Sioban Piercy lives and works in the West of Ireland. She has exhibited national and internationally -most recently for '10,000 to 50' at the Irish Museum of Modern Art in Dublin (2008), the 7th Biennale of Graphic Art 'Euro-Estampe' at Lorient, France (2007), 'Masters of Graphic Arts', Gyor, Hungary (2006) as well as at the Royal Academy, London (2006). She has received numerous awards including the International Triennial for Fine Art Printmaking at Cracow, Poland (2000) and her work is held in private and public collections worldwide -the Instituto Internationale per la Grafica, Rome acquired work in 2008.
Piercy studied at the Royal College of Art, London as well as at Ravensbourne College of Art and Design, Kent, U.K. and the Crawford School of Art, Cork, Ireland. At present she is employed as lecturer at the Galway Mayo Institute of Technology where is she Head of Fine Art Printmaking.
