The ‘Poggio
al Gello’ estate is nestled in the hilly terrain of the Montecucco
DOC wine region, bordering the area of the famous Brunello di Montalcino,
in an area called Maremma in the south of Tuscany.
Giorgio and
Alda, the proprietors, have chosen a limited production
of high quality Wine and Olive Oil.
Their priority
is a farming technique that fully respects
the environment, using traditional methods combined with continuing research
and innovation.
